To see the wild geese flying from the bog of Allen down to the Sloblands is a sign of fine weather.
If you see the seagulls flying up very high in the sky, and cackling, it is a sign of fine weather.
If you see a fine big bright frog hopping about after rain the weather is going to be fine.
To see the sun setting in a reddish ball of fire like between the months of January and April is a sign there is going to be frost. - Long ago 'twas all common dray cars you'd see at a funeral. There was a quilt in the middle and the women used sit there, and the men used to sit on the side laces.
