  2. Same old story here as in Carlow. March failed, in spite of her worst in the form of inclement weather, to skin 'the old cow'. She borrowed 3 days from April and that did the trick. The cow succumbed on the third day. Hence the "riabach days" or the"Reeky-Days" - neither good for man or beast (like the east wind itself
