There is another well in Ballinaslany, St. David is the patron St. It is a famous well for curing almost everything, sore eyes, head-aches, tooth-aches and pains of all kinds. It also cured cripples. My father and mother went over to see the well a few years ago and they saw an old man with a crutch and a walking kneeling clown beside the well and he praying. It was not long until he got up and was perfectly cured and he left(continues on next page)
