    brown horse and started for home again. He was a long time going home home, for he took his time, but at last he reached it. He went straight to the king and gave him the three bottles of water. There was a man working at the palace and he was very deaf. So the king to test the water put some of it in his ears. The moment he did so the man was cured. The king knew then that he had got the right water, so he thanked Jack over and over again and gave him his thousand pounds. Jack told the king that he wasn't diserving of any thanks that is was the brown horse that did all the work. The king then sent for the grand lady and she came.
