- (continued from previous page)When she saw that Jack had arrived safely with the water she was overjoyed. So to made a long story short herself and the king got married and they lived happy together.
The king thought he hadn't repaid Jack enough for his services, so he built him a palace and gave him the brown horse as a present. Jack was delighted when he got the brown horse for he was always fond of him. It was not long after this until Jack fell in love with a lady that used to be visiting at the king's palace and the end of it was they got married.
