- Forge of Connolly’s at ‘The Turnpike’ (as ‘The turn-peek’, Cloghoghue, on Newry Hill, main Newry-Dundalk road). One of two, another now demolished on opposite side of road, both just s-east of railways bridge. This Connolly said to have made cure for rickets in this forge.
