    Eddie Teeney lived in Carrowclogher about 45 years ago.

    Eddie Leeney lived in Carrowcloghen about 45 years ago. When he went out at night he used to be followed about by a frog for about a quarter of a mile from his own house. Sometimes he'd feel him jumping at the heels of his boots. When he'd be waiting at night he'd rather stay the night in the waiting house than face out for home for fear of the frog. The frog used to meet him in the one place any evening he'd go that way about duskus. It was said he went to Fr. O Haherty
