    the well and there is also near it a hollow stone, said to be the imprint of St. Patrick's knee. On Garland Sunday people visit the well and go round it three times on their knees, saying one Our Father and three Hail Mary's each time.
    The holywell in Holywell is about three miles from Ballyhaunis. It was blessed by St. Patrick on his journey from Aghamore to Granlahan. He is supposed to have passed through Larganboy to Derrymore and Lassinay and then by Hollywell into Ballyhaunis. He baptized people in the well at Hollywell and here also a stone bearing the imprint of his knee is to be seen. A thorn bush overhangs this well. On Garland
