Nettles, dandelions and spearmint used to be boiled and the juice given to persons suffering from heart disease, and to those who were run down. Some herbs have been used to cure ringworm. A man in Reisk long ago was suffering from rheumatism. He made a bed of nettles for himself and lay in it till he was blistered all over.
