    Valley of pleasant times
in olden times the houses which were small white cabens were at the west of the village in a cluster about ten or twelve together. Then they began to move away a little and build more houses. They are all in a different places now about four or five hundred yards from where they once stood. The most usual name is and those who are not that name are near relations. Shanuralla is an interesting village and a very pleasant one to live in.
