    The side that is not eaten.
    A man went to market and he had twenty pence with him and he bought three classes of fowl and he bought twenty fowl altogether. He bought geese at three-pence each, snipe at a half-penny each, and partridge at farthing each. How much of each did he buy?
    He bough four geese fourteen snipe and two partridge. He paid one shilling for the geese. He paid sevenpence and a halfpenny for the snipe and a halfpenny for the partridge.
