- There is a village named Laragan situated on the side of Sliabh-Cairn, a mountain between Balla and Kiltimagh, and about half a mile from Creggagh School. There is a man living in this village named James Conlon and on part of his land are three rocks in a triangular position. (drawing) There is a tradition that the person that would dig under the middle rock would find a pot of gold. The puzzle is to find the middle rock. Nobody ever looked for this treasure because only one rock may be dug under.
