    the people of the house would be angry because they would say that he would take the butter away.
    In summer time it takes about twenty minutes to make a churning and in winter time it takes a half an hour or more. Boiled water is poured in at the beginning. to hurry the making and to gather the butter with more satisfaction. When the butter starts to come up in little grains and sticks on to the dash, then the people known that the churning is almost made. When the churning is finished the woman makes the sign of the cross over the churn with the dash to bless the butter and the churn.
    The way the butter is taken out is first the woman rocks the churn to gather the butter, then she puts it into a wooden dish and washes it.
