    had a fine meal.
    Not long after this the rich brother held a feast. There lived in the rich brother house an old woman. The day (f) before the feast was held the rich brother put the old woman in a tea chest and gave her plenty to eat because he wanted to hide her so he left the chest in a quiet corner of the house. The night the feast had been held the young man and the poor brother and the neighbours, and some friends were invited to it.
    While it was going on the young man went to the chest and opened it. He got a great surprise when he saw the old woman and what did he do but to scrape all the meat off the bones and to stick a bone down in the old womans neck and choked her. Then he closed the chest again and never told any one.
