- A sow is supposed to be seen at this gate (i.e. the gate leading into Mr. Pat. O'Kane's ) land on the road between James Peyton's & John Payton's land, Dromeda Gore.
- Tradition has it that at the bush at the head of Martin Peyton's bóithrín in Loobnamock something is to be seen.
- It is said there is something to be seen there every night after twelve o'clock. Many people have been frightened at night there on their way home after visiting.
- This hill is on the Dromeda Joyce, Clooncleeveragh Road near which Tunny's, Davitt's and Ronley's stack their turf. It is said to b haunted.
