    passing by that hollow once and the ground opened and he fell into a hole and was never seen again.
    There is a story told about "Páirc bheag". It is said that in that field there was a pot of gold hidden. If a man could dig it up he would have it for himself.
    One morning a man came before sunrise to seek the gold. He dug down six feet into the and there he found his treasure. He brought it home and buried it behind his house and he came to see it every day. Micheal Igoe said that when he came one day the gold was gone.
