- The Thrush :- This disease comes in the form of white blisters on a baby's tongue. It comes from badly washed feeding bottles. If you wash the tongue with cotton wool dipped in lylycerine, it will be cured. A child who is born after the father has died is supposed to have a cure for The Thrush Toothache - a piece of cotton wool soaked in iodine and placed in the tooth will cure this. A little pepper or gingerwill also cure it.
