    Once upon a time there lived a very religious family. The father of this family was very good to his little girl called Maureen.

    came in and he knew her. They chattered gaily around the fire and after a while she said that she would take off the fairy clothes and be like one of themselves. When she put on the other clothes her face began to wither and her hair began to turn from gold to grey and death began to come upon her.
