- Once upon a time an old woman was sweeping a floor. As she was sweeping she found a sixpence. She said to herself, that she would buy a pig. She went to the fair and bought the pi. When she was coming home, she had to cross a stream and the pig would not cross for her.
She looked round and she saw a dog, and she said. "Dog, dog, bite the pig and put it across the stream" but the dog would not bite the pig. She looked round again and saw a stick and she called(continues on next page)- Informant
