- There is an old ancient place in Carragorru. It is known by the name of Killeen. It is situated on the east of lough Conn. Killeen means the small church because there was once a small church being built there. When it was half built it was thrown one night. The next day the men started to build it again and they waited up that night to watch it. During the night a white bird appeared to them.
