Long ago there was a man living in a very small farm at the butt of Nephin.

    (continued from previous page)
and got the thorn and cured his daughter. After that they were very happy because they had plenty money and food and drink.
Soon afterward Paddy's landlord heard of the pot which Paddy had. he invited him to his house and when he entered he left the pot on the floor and struck it three times. Then two men jumped out of the pot and laid the table with very nice things to eat. When the visitors had eaten they fell asleep.
After the sleepers awoke they found the pot had disappeared and also Paddy's two purses of gold as he was again as poor as ever.
