The Araglen River rises in the Duns and it enters the Blackwater near Fermoy. - There is a holy well in Ballyheaffy Co. Waterford in Thomas Shannahan's land in the parish of Ballyheaffy. It is situated quite closely to the Arra river in a cluster of small trees. This well is called Tobar na gCrann. Saint Carthage was connected with this well.
