    The cure for whooping cough is to put the person under and over the donkey nine times and that is said to be a great cure.
    Dandelion picked and boiled down and strained and bottled and kept airtight is an extra good tonic especially for girls. A glass of it should be taken every morning fasting.
    Penny leaves are found growing in soft stoney ditches, and they are used in making cures, the penny leaves are like an umbrella but are pale green.
    The cure for ringworm is an equal amount of treacle, sulphur, penny leaves, holloway powder, boil them down and turn them into a jar. It is like black paste and it is a great cure when rubbed on ringworm.
