There is a big stone there, a peculiar kind of a stone and it is of an enormous weight. It is said that any one of the fairies could bring it on her back. - There are many Fairy Forts around Ballyduff. One - The Lios - is about a quarter of a mile from my house and it is said that a gold sword is hidden there.
Another Fairy Fort is about three miles from my house. It is called the Fairies Home and it is said that if you went and sat down by it at twelve o'clock in the night you would see the fairies.(continues on next page)- Collector
