Certain people were cured of the whooping-cough. If the person would go under a white horse nine times, he, or she would be cured, or to put a frog in a tea-pot and as according the frog would be dying the cough would be going.
Tooth-ache:- Remedy
Long ago people used to get frogs and put them in their mouth and make them screech three times and you would never get a tooth-ache again. - Toothache Remedy
It is said that if you put a frog into your mouth holding him inside until he makes three screeches, then take him out again, a toothache would be cured.(continues on next page)- Informant
