Bóhar Loinsigh is another road. It leads from Camphire Cross to the Deerpark Wall. It is a very old road. It was the principal road from Lismore a hundred years ago. Roads were made then as relief work during the Famine period. The men who worked on the roads got five shillings a week each.
Páirc an Fhiadhaigh, another road leads from Lismore to Camphire. It was made about the year 1868. Bonfires were lit at crossroads long ago.
At shallow places rivers were crossed by long planks laid across the river.
There is a Mass path leading from Camphire to Killaha Bridge on the road to Cappoquin. There is another Mass path leading from Boolakiely through the Deerpark Wood to Lismore. People do not use these Mass paths now but they did some years ago.- Informant
