    People throw an old shoe or rice after a newly married couple.
    After the marriage the bride does not visit her own house until a month is up.
    It is the custom to borrow the ring of a happily married woman and to use it for the marriage.
    The bridegroom is the first to arrive, the bride last. Both leave together.
    Newly married couple do not attend Mass on 1st Sunday succeeding marriage.
    The first child of a newly married couple is put into an old cradle.
