- Holy Wells
There is a holy well in the neighbourhood of Kilbride. It is said that St. Brigid founded it the year before she died. Many people were cured there from many deceased such as ring worm boils head-aches and so on.
There is an enchanted well at newtown cove. It is also a holy well. People wish there. It is said that St. Ciaran founded it in the year 1816. On certain nights a man robed in white is seen reading over this well. People say that it is St. Ciaran himself.
