    an avenue of flouring lime trees, lofty wych elms, the largest sycamore in County Dublin and many others. The Committee of the Club would not sacrifice a single tree or shrubs of value, and in vacant spaces plantations have been introduced. So as well as having earned the reputation of providing a fine golfing test, the members of Hermitage are in possession of a beautifully situated course within easy access of Dublin.

    The Golf Course belongs to the Barony of Newcastle and the District of Esker.
