  1. Once upon a time a man was going along the road in an ass and cart; it was very dark and he had no light, and he met a policeman. The policeman asked him where was his light and the policeman said that if he caught him again with no light he would summon him. The next night the man was going down the road at the same time, and he had no light, so he unyoked the ass and put him in the cart and pulled the cart himself. He met the policeman who asked him where was his light, and he said "Ask the driver"
