- One very windy evening four or five men went out fishing for flat fish, in order to spend the evening. They went out very far in the the sea and a great storm arose, so they were along time getting in homewards. It began to fall dark and the storm got worse and a big fog began to come on. When they were about half a mile from the land the boat began to dock, so at last it turned over and the men were thrown out of it. A friend belonging to one of these men was watching to see would he see any sign of them coming. And he was a good swimmer and went out to try to save them, so he brought in two of the men safe and sound, but the other three were drownded , And afterwards the man got great praise for his mandliness.
