- (continued from previous page)Ballintra. The graveyard is very old certainly, there are no craved stones inscriptions, no traces of sculpture, name or date. Stones similar to those composing the adjacent fence are stuck in the ground, perhaps long ago there were graves where these stones are now. Probably this place was used before the present graveyard at Mullinacross.
- There was once a graveyard down at Hollybrooke. A man came to live at Hollybrooke. When he came he ploughed up the land and the graceyard and dug up the bones of the people who were buried there. But after that he had to leave for he was haunted day and night because he dug up the graveyard. The remains of this graceyard still(continues on next page)
