    Boxty bread
Boxty bread is made in the manner following. A few raw potatoes are washed and grated with a grater after which they are put into a cloth and the water wrung out of them. Then they are mixed with a few boiled ones and some flour and a little salt is added. The mixture is then kneaded and rolled out flat on a bake board and left like that for some time before being put on the griddle to bake. It is turned while baking until both sides are properly done.
