If we cut our hands (and) or feet we should get a few leaves and cut them up when we take them out again and put them on the cut in about two minutes the blood is stopped. There is another plant and it grows in marshy places in bogs and it is called bog-bine. Before we can take this medicine we must boil it. After it is done boiling it is put into bottles or jars. When it is put into jars it gets a clear colour then it is ready for drinking. This medicine is good for the blood. Home made medicines were used more long ago that what is used now for we can get medicines to buy in chemists now-a-days.- Collector
