    Long ago rush candles were made. The rushes used to be peeled first. After that they used to be dipped in fat of butter. Creels used to be made of sally rods. The rods used to be put in the ground and about three inches used to be left between every rod. Then other rods used to be weaved in between the rods that are in the ground. The tops of the rods that were in the ground were pressed across the bottom. Wool comes from the sheep. Then the wool is carded and made into rolls. After that is it spun
