I suppose it was about one hundred and twenty years ago when a yawl was fishing herring in Bruckless Bay.It happened so that on this particular day they dropped their anchor in a very unusual spot.Just then when they were going to draw a dull a little man appeared on the surface of the water and rested his arms on the gunwale of the boat.He then spoke to the skipper and told him to lift his anchor for it was across his hall door and neither him nor his children could get out or in. Then he disappeared into the depths of the sea.- Informant
