    up a farm between two people so that they would not be able to bring up two families on it, and everyone would only have half the value of the farm. The people that they put to the mountains, they took the land from them and gave it to the Presbyterians. Now the Gaelic stock are getting back their own land.
    Mrs O Donnell who lived in Convoy husband was sick and she was not able to pay the rent, and the Landlords agent, Manfield was putting her out of the house. Mansfield lived in Ramelton.
    At that time Montgomery was in the Curragh in Kildare training his regiment. The woman walked to Kildare to see Montgomery. When she reached Kildare, a man who was in the regiment got her some food, a good bed, and gave her some money.
    He told her that the best time to see Montgomery was in the morning coming out with his regiment. The woman waited to the mroning and even when Montgomery was coming with his regiment. The woman went over to him and she told him that the agent was putting her out off
