When the soldiers came all the people women and men started to throw out the big stones on the soldiers and the Sherriffs, they stuck in the forks and graips into them. The war lasted for a whole day and the people themselves won the fight. They were not put out of their homes.
They had holes made in the walls where they threw out the stones and are still to be seen in the walls. The house is used for a barn now.
