There is a place over in Gartan and there are old walls in it. This is where St Colmcille was born. There is a turas every year. People go there and pray. There is a stone there and in it is a hole and it is full of water and the people say if you turn it up side down the water will remain in it.
There is another big stone above the old walls and they say if you rub your head against this stone you will never have a headache.- Collector
