- (continued from previous page)in bed long till she looked out on the floor, and, what did she see but a big black cat running about on the floor. When morning came the woman looked all round the room but couldn't see any cat, and she found the door and the window the same way as she left them. She went down stairs and told the man of the house what she saw but the man of the house told her there "were" nothing there "atal" because there were no one sleeping there in that bed since his mother died in it. The woman thought that the Black cat was her master's mother's ghost so she left the house.
- Once upon a time a man was going to a little country town on an errand. It was about 8.30 oclock and he was walking on a lonely road when all of a sudden his cap was lifted off his head and he thought all his hair was standing on his head.
