    The people say there is also a cure at the Virgin's Well because one time the Blessed Virgin appeared to a very holy girl, but people do not come to visit these wells now.
    The water from holy wells should never be used for household work. I have heard of a women who washed clothes in a holy well and it dried up on this account.
    I heard of Saint Fintans Well where fish appear to sick people who are going to be cured. This well is not in Skerries.
