- There is a great on the top of Healy's hill on the Denmore Rd near the Fairy Mills. It is said that within the cave was found a sword and shield belonging to a soldier of some army.
- Some arms were found about a few miles in the from Tuam in the village of Cusceh. It is not known what was found but it was found under a big stone by a soldier.
