    plenty of means and money. Every lady is supposed to bring the roosting with her. The old mother-in-law gets very troublesome if this does not arrive.
    People in this locality remember people being married in their houses as recently as fifty years ago.
    On the wedding day all the neighbours, friends, and relatives of the bride assemble at the home of the bride where a sumptuous feast awaits them after which the dancing begins.
    Soon after the bridegroom arrives with a big drag and then the feasting starts again. After which they all intermingle dancing and drinking till evening when they start for the church.
