    hare came to the palace window. The first day the hare came his wife followed him and she never returned. The second day his son followed him and he never returned. The third day his daughter followed him and she never returned. He said that was the reason why he did not laugh for the last seven years.
    The boy asked him would the hare come today. The King said it would. The boy waited and the hare came. He jumped on the king's horse and followed the hare. At last he arrived in Galway. He came to the house where the witch was. She was running in behind the dresser. The boy caught her and pulled her out. She asked him did he see the tree over there. He said he did. She told him to go over and to pull a rod from the tree. He said he would not. he told herself to go back. She asked him did he see the stone there. He said he did. She told him to strike the stone. He said he would not. He told herself to strike the stone.
