  1. Fairy Forts
    1. There is a fort in Cloonfaughna west. There is a pond in the middle of the field and it is surrounded by bushes. Every May eve and Novembers eve there is the music of a fiddle heard.
    2. Gort Na Fianna: - A man once dug a hole there and it was closed up in the morning. If a person goes into this field at night he can't find his way out until daylight.
    3. Love's field:- There was an army of soldiers in it one time. They were killed and their bodies were buried in the fort.
