When the girl was going she took the half of the sheep and her blessing. When she came to the castle she knocked and the Giant's wife let her in. She sat down beside the fire and said "you had a good dinner to day." No said the Giant's wife "those are your brothers" She went out to help the Giant and she had the little rod with her. The Giant said "the sun is rising now and before it sets in the evening some one of us will have the other killed." The two went up on an acre flag to fight. She hit the Giant with the rod and put him to his neck in the flag, she hit him again and killed him. She went into the castle and hit each of her brothers and brought them down on the floor(continues on next page)
