- (continued from previous page)tub with washing soda. The grease is boiled and strained. It is then put into the tub with the pot-ash and washing-soda. It is all mixed together and put on a tray and cut into whatever weight it is needed.
Pardógs are used for drawing manure for the ground. In making a pair of pardógs, four posts are needed, with four rungs and four holes in every two. When that is done the bottoms are put in them and they are woven with sally rods.
Arm-chairs are also made locally. The implements used for making an arm-chair are - Hatchet, saw, auger, and a plane. The wood which is used is ash and oak.
The seat is made first and four holes is bored for four legs. Six rungs are put on the back and the part which you lean against, is attached to the rungs.(continues on next page)- Collector
