The distance between point (A) and point (F) being about six inches.Then stick (A) is put on the end of the wire and washer (E) is put on the wire behind stick (A) to keep it in a fixed place.
- Beastings
When a cow calves the first milk which she gives is not used as milk is generaly used but beastings is made from it. Beastings is made in the following way. In the morning the milk is taken from the cow and some time during the day the beastings is made. The milk is poured into a pot or sometimes into a saucepan and it is put on the fire where it is alowed to boil. When it is(continues on next page)- Collector
