- Charles Trower (now dead) who lived in the townland of Drumanyy, Dromahair, Co Leitrim was one night about twelve o'clock going home from visiting his neighbours. As he was passing a house in Cornamorriff (where Thomas Gallagher now lives) he saw a large number of cats. There was one cat sitting up to the gable and as Charles was passing she spoke to him and said, "Tell Kitty Stravager when you go home that Billy the Rover is dead." Charles went home, and he told his wife about the cats. He had at that time an old dying cat and while he was telling his wife about the cats his own cat(continues on next page)
