- (continued from previous page)ill were brought there and they brought towels and blankets with them and they were put into this house and the door was partly closed so they remained there as long as they were able to bear the heat. Then they used the towels to dry the sweat off themselves. They put dry clothes on them and were brought home in the blankets and left in a warm room. This was a very successful cure in those days for rheumatism and colds. One of these little houses is still to be seen in a field of Richard Davis in the townland of Buggan.
